Every year the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) conducts a survey about retirement confidence. Last year, we reviewed the results here.
In positive news, the confidence levels of workers continues to be on the rise in America. 22% of workers now consider themselves to be very confident about their retirement. This is up from just 13% in 2013.
Not surprisingly, retirement confidence is related to retirement plan participation. Those workers reporting that they or their spouse have funds in a retirement plan are more than twice as likely to feel very confident about their retirement.
What do you think about the statistics increasing? Are you feeling more confident?
