Mother's Day

Denver-Wealth-Management.png

It's Spring... Summer is almost here and Mother's Day is right around the corner. Fun! While you may be trying to figure out that perfect gift for mom, the rest of the country is, apparently, doing the same. According to statisticbrain.com, there are 85 million moms in the U.S.

What would the majority of them like for Mother's Day?

Probably not what you assume...

36% of Mom's responded with: something homemade. Only 22.5% wanted flowers! Seems like it's time to ditch the traditions and get creative. The other top ranking gift wishes were dinner (34.8%), a greeting card (31.5%) and gift cards (24.7%).

While the US spends over $20.7 billion on Mother's Day, it appears that the cost isn't the necessity... as they say... it's the thought. So, if you're strapped for ideas for Mom, go here for creative, quick and thoughtful Mother's Day ideas.

What are you planning on doing to celebrate your Mom?
